| 27 | Description of problem | Sells pedistals and statues on ebay. Very dumb person though. I email a question before the end of an auction and they do not have the courtesey to respond with simple information about their products. They show one product in the auction then list 20 others as examples but never say if they offer the others. Then I order anyway because no one else offers the pedistal that I want. I misstate the finish I want by calling it Granite insteady of Gray Stone. It takes them a week to respond to that and ask me what finish I want on the pedistal evenhtough I already told them with the payment. Why didnt they respond when I sent payment? Why wait a week. I respond again and clearly tell them what I wanted. I wait, a week, then a 2nd, now it is time for this heavy pedistal to arrive and I am watching the mail when I receive an email from these people, QUOTING MY PREVIOUS EMAIL ABOUT WHICH FINISH TO USE. They actually quote my answer and ask me the answer which they received.
Then they email again to ask if I decided on the finish.
What? They want to see if I decided? I already told them two weeks ago, and a week before that too and they quoted my email with decision so why are they asking again? Total idiots. They could have shipped this two weeks ago if they had bothered to read my email before replying to it. I think my original email is pretty clear when it says Grey Stone twice.
I paid Sept 11, it is now Oct 6 and they still have not shipped. Then he asks me if I paid? It is clearly listed in the ebay status and in his paypal account so why is he asking me at all? Why didnt he just look it up in his paypal account?Too lazy or too stupid?
Finally 2 days after I reply he now says there is a $26 fee for a custom finish. The auction said nothing about $26 and nothing about an additional charge for a custom finish. The auction actually listed available finishes and made it sound like you could pick any one you wanted. So now I have to pay another $26. It is now 4 days since I sent payment and I have heard NOTHING. No thanks for the payment, no shipping notification, nothing.
Update: I emailed asking the status 5 days after his last email. I receive NO reply. Then today, Oct 12 I receive my pedistal. Still he never replied to my email asking the status. The pedistal was very nice and extremely well packed. Too bad the seller is still an idiot that has no idea how to run a business or deal with people. |
